Mariano’s grocery hiring 450 for Chicago market

Roundy’s Supermarkets is hiring 450 people to fill full- and part-time jobs at its fourth Chicago-area Mariano’s Fresh Market at 333 Benton Place in the Lakeshore East Development.

Those seeking jobs must apply online at MarianosFreshMarket.com (click on “careers” and then click on “for store career paths”).

The store is slated to open at 6 a.m. on Oct. 4.

Each store employs 16 salaried managers, as well as jobs ranging from meat cutters to cake decorators.

The other three stores are at 3350 N. Western Ave. in Chicago, and in Arlington Heights and Vernon Hills.
