Tribune talking to bankers about selling Chicago, other papers: report

Tribune Co., owner of the Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times and six other dailies, is talking to bankers about selling its newspapers after it emerges from bankruptcy, Bloomberg News is reporting, citing unnamed sources.
Rupert Murdoch, chairman and CEO of News Corp., which owns the New York Post and Wall Street Journal, will look at the Tribune papers, Bloomberg reports, citing a source. Tribune is expected to exit bankrtuptcy by Dec. 31.
