Chicago-based Nuveen Investments has hired equity strategist Bob Doll to work at its asset management affiliate.
Doll recently left BlackRock, the world’s largest money manager, where he was chief equity strategist for fundamental equities and led the U.S. large cap series equity team. He earlier served as an investment leader at Merill Lynch Investment Managers and Oppenheimer Funds Inc.
Doll will serve as chief equity strategist and senior portfolio manager for Nuveen, effective immediately. Nuveen said Doll is an authority on investing and is a widely followed market commentator. “Today, uncertainty remains the reality across the markets, yet opportunities continue to emerge — and investors and their advisors need to seize them,” Doll said in a statement.
