Kraft: Stuffing ‘not just for Thanksgiving’

In a new ad campaign, Kraft Foods will use humor to try to get people to see stuffing as a yearlong staple.

The “It’s not just for Thanksgiving” campaign, which launches Monday, will feature Pilgrims coping with the fact that Northfield-based Kraft’s Stove Top Stuffing is now being consumed on any old night of the week.

Stove Top Stuffing was introduced in 1972 and is sold only in North America, where consumers are familiar with the tradition of the Thanksgiving day feast.

Despite past efforts to make stuffing more popular year-round, the majority of Stove Top sales still take place between October and December.
