Here’s another reason why Saturn drivers love their cars — and hated when GM discontinued production in 2009.
Chandra Ewell and her Saturn got stuck on Lake Shore Drive during the blizzard Tuesday night. She spent hours near the Fullerton exit before running out of gas and being rescued by the Chicago Fire Department.
The next day, she went to retrieve her car — only to find the engine compartment packed with snow.
After the city gave her a free tank of gas, Ewell decided to give the ignition a try.
Despite the snowy engine, when Ewell turned the key, the engine immediately turned over and roared to life.
