Combating hot spots of violence, the Chicago Police Department has already burned through two-thirds of its 2013 overtime budget in the first three months of the year — raising questions about how much will be left to handle the traditional summer crime wave. Sources: Chicago fugitive wanted for FBI informant’s murder
A Chicago man who sources say was wanted in connection with the murder of an FBI informant in the south suburbs last month has been arrested after a manhunt in Wisconsin. Paris Poe, 33, was arrested by a SWAT team on a Madison highway shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, following a day-long search that saw several schools locked down. Law enforcement sources told the Sun-Times the murder investigators want to talk to Poe about is that of 27-year-old Keith Daniels, an alleged federal informant killed outside his Dolton home on the evening of April 14.
