Bond denied for men accused of shooting trick-or-treater, 10

Bond was denied for two alleged street gang members charged with shooting a 10-year-old boy on Halloween in Albany Park while shooting at a group of trick-or-treaters they thought were rival gang members, officials said.
Cruz Perez, 22, of the 3800 block of West Foster, and Steven Figueroa, 18, of the 3000 block of West Gunnison, were charged Wednesday with aggravated battery with a firearm, police said.
Perez, also charged with a parole violation, allegedly shot the boy in his leg just before 10 p.m. Monday in the 4700 block of North Sacramento, police said.
