A woman wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses stuck up a River North bank Tuesday morning, getting away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The woman passed a note to a teller at the Chase Bank in the 600 block of North Dearborn just before 9 a.m. The note demanded money and implied she had a weapon, police said.
Authorities said the robber, believed to be in her mid- to late-20s, had blond hair and a pony tail. She was wearing tight blue jeans or black pants, white gym shoes and a baseball cap with a mesh back.
There have been at least 60 bank robberies this year in the Chicago area, according to the FBI.
