Police: Woman uses her ‘intimate area’ to smuggle gun into jail

Some women would just bake a file in a cake.

Aisha N. McClinton, 33, was booked into the county jail last week as part of her conviction on weapons charges.

On March 14, 2010, McClinton was arriving at Stateville Correctional Center to visit a man serving a life sentence for murder when she refused to allow police to search her car. After McClinton changed her mind, one officer found cannabis under her seat, while another saw something else.

While court records say the officer saw a 9mm handgun come from McClinton’s waistband, police report the firearm appeared to have been concealed in an “intimate area” of her anatomy.

McClinton has been sentenced to 120 days in jail and two years of probation.
