Porn at work lands federal workers in trouble

Watching porn at work has landed 24 federal employees in Chicago and six other cities in trouble. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission says it counseled or disciplined the employees in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Denver, Boston, Los Angeles and Fort Worth, Texas, for accessing pornographic sites on government computers between 2005 and 2010, as the financial system the agency has a hand in overseeing teetered and almost collapsed. The SEC says none of the employees who used a work computer to access porn sites is considered a high-ranking official or senior officer and that eight employees including a supervisor resigned, six got suspensions ranging from a day to two weeks, and the rest were either counseled or reprimanded.
