The Blizzard of 2011. Snowmageddon. Typical Chicago winter weather. You can call it whatever you want, but you better brace yourself.
A major blizzard the National Weather Service is calling “life-threatening” is on its way to the Chicago area, also bringing along strong winds that could send 18-foot Lake Michigan waves onto Lake Shore Drive Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
Sound scary? We agree! We want to hear how you’re preparing for the storm and see just how much snow your neighborhood gets.
Were the meteorologists wrong? Stick a ruler in the snow and send us a picture. Let’s see just how much snow you got. Also send us photos of Fluffy lost in the snow, the giant snowman you built and the icicle hanging precariously from the side of your house. Did you have to dig a tunnel out to your car? We want to see it! At least this way we can all commiserate together.
