Buffalo Grove man arrested for chasing cops

A Buffalo Grove man is learning the hard way that if there’s going to be a police chase, it’s the police who are supposed to do the chasing.
Buffalo Grove police on Jan. 6 pulled over Michael Adam Musick, 47, for going 37 mph in a 25 mph zone.
When an officer tried to give him tickets for speeding and driving without a license, Musick became “belligerent and uncooperative,” refusing to sign the tickets and verbally abusing the officers, police said.
Officers left the tickets on Musick’s windshield and returned to their cars, but he tried to block them from pulling away. After they went around him, he got into his SUV and chased them, tailgating one of the police cars and then trying to swerve in front and block its path, police said.
The officers pulled Musick over again and, with weapons drawn, removed him from his SUV, police said. He was charged with reckless conduct.
