Wrong-way driver's minivan collides with semi on Kennedy Expy.

A man suffered minor injuries when he drove his minivan the wrong way on the Interstate 94 Kennedy Expressway and collided with a semitruck trailer early Tuesday.
The man drove south onto the northbound exit at North Avenue about 12:30 a.m. and went about 25 yards before the minivan crashed head-on into a semi, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. Rodney Collins said.
The minivan’s driver–whose age was not immediately known–was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, according to state police.
His vehicle hadn’t picked up much speed and the driver of the semi tried to merge left to avoid the collision, police said.
Collins said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash. No citations or charges had been issued as of 4 a.m. as state police investigate.
