Two girls and a woman were attacked within two days in south suburban Park Forest, police said.
About 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, a high school-age girl was walking through Winnebago Park when a man robbed her at knifepoint and then grabbed her over her bra, according to a community alert from Park Forest police. The girl managed to pull away and escape.
The suspect was described as a black man with a beard, between 28 and 35 years old, standing between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 and weighing 135 pounds. He has yellow and misaligned teeth and a beard, police said. He was wearing gray sweatpants, a black hooded sweatshirt and dark sunglasses at the time of the attack.
About 8:20 a.m. Thursday, another high school-age girl was confronted by a man near the intersection of Westgate and Westwood — less than two blocks from Winnebago Park. The man “felt her body over her clothing,” police said.
He was described as a black man in his 20s, between 180 and 200 pounds and standing approximately 5-foot-8. He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt at the time, police said.
About 40 minutes later, a 39-year-old woman was walking near Shabbona Park — within two miles of Winnebago Park — when a naked man grabbed her waist from behind and thrust his pelvic area towards her, police said.
The man was described as black, between 25 and 30 years old and standing approximately 6-feet with a medium build and light complexion, police said. He was wearing a skull cap at the time, but was otherwise naked.
Police could not confirm if all three attacks were committed by the same person and extra patrols have been dispatched to the areas the attacks have been reported.
