A 60-year-old man was hospitalized briefly early Sunday after he fell on the Blue Line’s tracks near the Monroe Station in the Loop, Chicago Police said.
The man was apparently on the platform waiting for a Blue Line train when he leaned over and fell on the tracks about 3 a.m. at 115 S. Dearborn St., near the Monroe Station, said Chicago Police Officer Janel Sedevic.
CTA staff assisted him off the tracks, and a Chicago Fire Department ambulance took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Sedevic said.
The man was treated for minor injuries, later released, Sedevic said.
