Police search United Center after ‘several’ threats

Police searched the United Center during the Bulls’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers Friday night after “several telephonic threats” were made against the stadium.

About 8 p.m., Chicago police responded to the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., and conducted a safety sweep with negative results, police said.

An all clear was given about 9:10 p.m., police said.

No one is in custody as the Chicago Police Bomb and Arson Unit investigates.
