Northbound Lake Shore Drive reopened after fatal car accident

One man was killed and two other people were injured in a rollover crash Friday morning on Lake Shore Drive on the North Side, officials said.
Rescue crews responded to the crash about 5 a.m. in the 5000 block of North Lake Shore Drive, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Will Knight said.
The vehicle was heading southbound when it struck the median, and then flipped over into the northbound lanes of traffic, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.
The driver, Milad Mosadeghi, 24, of the 7800 block of North Caldwell Avenue in Niles, was dead at the scene, according to police and the medical examiner’s office.
Two passengers, a 33-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, were both taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center , Sedevic said.
The northbound lanes of Lake Shore Drive were closed at Wilson Avenue for roughly four hours while authorities investigated.
The police Major Accident Investigation Unit is looking into the cause of the crash.
