Coming off a 20-point game in which he dropped in six three-pointers, Derrick Rose pronounced himself ready to keep making progress after the Bulls’ shootaround on Monday.
The hamstring injury that kept him out of Friday’s game at Toronto seems to be behind him after he helped the Bulls rout Indiana on Saturday with 6-for-11 shooting from beyond the arc.
``He did [everything at the shootaround,’’ coach Tom Thibodeau said. ``He feels pretty good.’’
Asked if he’s 100 percent, the Bulls star said, ``I think so. I was out there just taking my time [against Indiana on Saturday], and really being patient. It allowed me to play great.’’
Rose credited good work habits as a key to the strides he’s making.
``I’m not going to stop working,’’ he said. ``I’m going to keep shooting the ball. My confidence is just going to keep growing. I’m going to have games like that, where I shoot great. And I’m going to have games where I miss. But that’s not going to stop me from taking the shots I need to take.’’
