8 injured — including 6 kids — in rollover crash on southbound I-57

Eight people — including 8-month-old twins and four other children — were injured after when a minivan hit a guard rail and rolled over in the southbound lanes of Interstate 57 near 111th Street about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, authorities said.
Four people were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, two in critical condition and two in serious condition; two were taken to the University of Chicago Hospitals in critical condition, and two were taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park in serious condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.
The other injured children were 2, 4, 5 and 7 years old, police said.
Illinois State Police were investigating the crash.
