Police searching for South Side woman missing since February

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a South Side woman who has been missing since mid-February.

Candice Jackson, missing from the 5400 block of South Indiana Avenue, was last seen on February 12, according to a missing person alert.

She frequents the Woodson branch library at 95th and Halsted streets and the area of Stroger Hospital on the Near West Side.

She is a black woman with a dark complexion, with brown eyes and black hair. She is 5-feet, 5-inches tall, and weighs about 280 pounds.

Jackson was last seen wearing a gray coat, a red hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.
