Fire at the Old Town Social bar

Police and fire personnel are on the scene of a fire at a bar in the Old Town neighborhood on the Near North Side Sunday afternoon: Sun-Times news blog.
The fire was at Old Town Social, a bar/restaurant at 455 W. North Ave. Fire officials say the cause was a fire on the roof, which has been extinguished. There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Black smoke from the fire could be seen from as far south as the Merchandise Mart. Police were redirecting traffic at the scene.
