Three men were shot in two separate incidents in the South Side Roseland neighborhood Saturday night, police said.
At 9:30 p.m., two males were walking down the sidewalk in the 00 to 100 block of West 108th Place when a man approached them, furnished a gun and opened fire about 9:30 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
One of the victims, a 20-year-old man, was shot in the buttocks and knee, police said. He was taken in “stable” condition to Advocate Christ Hospital in Woodlawn for treatment.
The other victim, at 15-year-old boy, was shot in the left leg, police said. He was taken in “stable” condition to Roseland Community Hospital for medical care.
Then less than an hour later at 10:10 p.m., an 18-year-old man was near South Aberdeen Street and West 111th Street when he was shot, police said.
As he walked down a sidewalk, a man emerged from a dark-colored sport utility vehicle and opened fire, police said.
The man was taken in “stable” condition to Advocate Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn for treatment of a gunshot wound to the buttocks, police said.
No arrests have been made in either incident. Area South detectives are investigating.
