Subway work keeps CTA Red Line trains above ground this weekend

The CTA is keeping southbound Red Line trains above ground this weekend, as work is done on the subway downtown.
Red Line trains headed south to 95th Street are being rerouted to remain above ground between Fullerton and Cermak-Chinatown so the work can be done, according to the CTA.
The reroute began at 11 p.m. Friday and is scheduled to last until 4 a.m. Monday.
