A man was shot three times in the back Wednesday night about three blocks away from a police station on the West Side.
The shooting happened about 11:06 p.m. in the 2900 block of West Harrison, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said. That’s just down the street from the Chicago Police Department’s Harrison District station at 3151 W. Harrison St.
The 41-year-old man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, Gaines said.
Police had made no arrests. Area North detectives were investigating.
