Man arrested after allegedly causing disturbance outside Hadiya Pendleton’s funeral

A 43-year-old man was arrested Saturday morning after causing a disturbance outside the church where funeral services for 15-year Hadiya Pendleton were held.
The incident happened outside Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church, in the 5100 block of South State Street, police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said.
About two hours before the 11 a.m. funeral, Anthony Bradley, of the 7900 block of South Manistee Avenue, allegedly was complaining about the parking situation at the church and may have tried to park in a restricted area, according to police.
He “became loud and verbally abusive in the parking lot adjacent to the chapel,” Perez said.
Bradley was charged with one count each of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, Perez said.
Hundreds of people, including First Lady Michelle Obama, Gov. Pat Quinn, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and other dignitaries packed the church for the girl’s funeral.
