ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Kim Kardashian says she and Kanye West feel “so blessed and lucky” to be expecting a child.

The rapper announced at a concert Sunday night that his girlfriend is pregnant. Kardashian was in the crowd at Revel Resort’s Ovation Hall with her mother, Kris Jenner, and West’s mentor and best friend, Jay-Z.

West told the crowd of more than 5,000 in song form: “Now you having my baby.”

The crowd roared. And so did people on the Internet.

The news instantly went viral on Twitter and Facebook, with thousands posting and commenting on the expecting couple.

Most of the Kardashian clan also tweeted about the bun in Kim’s oven, including her sisters. Kourtney Kardashian wrote: “Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!”

Kim herself shared the news in a blog post Monday, saying, “We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us.”

Kardashian is about 12 weeks along, according to E!, which airs her family’s reality shows.

West, 35, and Kardashian, 32, went public with their relationship in March.

The reality TV star has spoken for years of her wish to be a mom. In September she said on ABC’s “The View”: “Kids is definitely something I want.”

The news comes as Kardashian is still battling to exit her brief marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries. She and Humphries were famously married for 72 days, following a lavish televised gala, and continue trying to settle their divorce. They are due back in court in mid-February to set a trial date to either dissolve or annul the marriage.
