3 dead, 6 injured in weekend shootings

The weekend before Christmas saw three men killed and six people wounded in separate shootings since Friday night, authorities said.
The latest fatal shooting happened about 5:19 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of West Crystal in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Cintrail Williams, 23, of the 200 block of South Sacramento, was found dead in a car, authorities said. He had been shot multiple times, authorities said.
About 5:07 a.m. Sunday, Chad Carrasco, 35, of the 12500 block of South Harvard, was shot in the head in the 3500 block of West Lake, authorities said. Detectives said the shooting was a possible homicide.
About 2:15 a.m. Sunday, Hakeem Walton, 20, of Hammond, Ind., was shot in the back of the head while sitting in the back seat of a car in the 2700 block of East 84th Street, police said. The driver took Walton to Advocate Trinity Hospital, where Walton died.
Among the five people injured were a man and a 23-year-old woman who were shot about 12:20 a.m. Sunday outside a pizzeria in the 1200 block of West 18th Street in Pilsen, police said. The woman listed in critical condition and the man was in good condition at Stroger Hospital, police said.
