Two boys — 13 and 14 — were among four killed and at least 29 others wounded in shootings throughout the city between Friday and Sunday.

Antonio Davis, 14, of the 800 block of South Eberhart, was gunned down during a possible drive-by shooting shortly before 9 p.m. Friday near the intersection of South Union and West 69th, officials said.

The younger boy — Tyquan Tyler, 13, of the 6500 block of South Rhodes — died after being shot around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in the chest in a drive-by shooting in the 6200 block of South Rhodes.

Just 30 minutes later, 29-year-old Hansen Jackson was shot several times in the chest in the 3700 block of West Chicago and later died at Mount Sinai Hospital.

A person of interest is being questioned in Jackson’s death, police said.

On Sunday evening, a male was shot dead on the far South Side, according to police.

He was shot near the intersection of East 130th Street and South Eberhart Avenue, police said.

At least 29 others, including two other teen boys, were wounded in shootings throughout the city:

The boys, 14 and 15, were playing basketball in the 2400 block of East 74th when around 8:45 p.m. Saturday someone approached on foot and shot at them, police said.

The 15-year-old was taken in stable condition to Jackson Park Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg and the 14-year-old was taken in fair condition to Comer Children’s Hospital at the University of Chicago Medical Center with gunshots to the back and shoulder, police said.

In another incident, a man was shot and two other people were hit by a vehicle in a possible gang-related incident around 4 a.m. Saturday in front of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, police said.

A group of at least six people were walking outside when two dark vehicles approached, police spokesman Robert Perez said. One of the vehicles veered off the road and struck a 25-year-old man, then turned around and struck a 21-year-old woman.

While fleeing the scene, someone from one of the vehicles opened fire and shot a 26-year-old man in the 2400 block of North Cannon, Perez said. That victim was shot in the shoulder and taken in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The woman and man injured by the vehicle were taken in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Perez said.
