Obama in Springfield
This is Illinois state Senate President Emil Jones, Obama's political godfather, wearing a t-shirt marking Obama's presidential kickoff. Jones was the top Democrat in the state senate during the time Obama was a state senator representing a South Side Chicago district. Jones is waiting for Obama's arrival at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel.
